Registration

Registration and payments are handled primarily online via our online registration page.

Registration for the Spring 2016 season is now open.

3rd-8th grade players who register on or before Jan 31st will receive a $25 discount on registration fees ($140 instead of $165, +$25 for US Lacrosse membership). The US Lacrosse membership fee must be paid at time of registration, but the remainder of the registration fee is not due until Feb 14th.

Players

AYL welcomes grade 1-8 girls and boys who live within the Aloha High School attendance boundary, see https://www.beaverton.k12.or.us/depts/facilities/boundary/Documents/AllHigh_2014.pdf .

Players living outside the AHS attendance boundary are encouraged to register with their local Tualatin Valley Youth Lacrosse League member club, see http://www.tvlax.com . Players living outside the AHS boundary that want to play on an AYL team will need to go through a waiver process. For more information contact the AYL president, .

Teams

Players will be placed on teams based on their school grade and gender.

  • Girls and Boys grade 1-2, coed
  • Girls grade 3-4
  • Girls grade 5-6
  • Girls grade 7-8
  • Boys grade 3-4
  • Boys grade 5-6
  • Boys grade 7-8

Parents who want their player to play at a different grade level will need to contact the AYL president, .

Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation Department (THPRD) ID Number

A valid THPRD ID number is necessary to register for AYL. If you live outside of the THPRD District Boundary, you will need to contact THPRD prior to registering and pay an assessment fee ($80 for the 2015 spring quarter) to get a THPRD ID number. US Lacrosse Membership

US Lacrosse Membership is required for all grade 3-8 players. The US Lacrosse $25 yearly registration fee is paid by the player directly to US Lacrosse. The AYL player registration will redirect you to the US Lacrosse website if necessary during the registration process.

For grade 1-2 players, a US Lacrosse membership is not necessary.

Family Discount

Families registering multiple players are eligible to receive a $25.00 discount for the second player, and a $50.00 discount for each additional player past two.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available to cover or reduce registration fees. This assistance is primarily provided through THPRD. For more information see http://thprd.org/activities/familyassistance.cfm . Questions can also be answered by our registrar, .

Refund Policy

The deadline to request a refund of registration fees is Mar 11th 2016. All refund requests must be made in writing (email) to . The $25 US Lacrosse membership fee paid to US Lacrosse is non-refundable. All refunds will incur a $5 administration fee.


Grade 1-2 Coed

Registration fee - $75.00

  • 6 weekly practice/scrimmage sessions starting Sat Apr 2nd.
  • Players will receive an AYL t-shirt.
  • Players will be provided a mini Lacrosse stick they can keep. Players are encouraged to bring their own Lacrosse stick if they have them.

Girls and boys grade 1-2 equipment

  • Girls or boys lacrosse stick.
  • Cleats (recommended).

Grade 3-8 Girls

Registration fee: $140.00 + $25 US Lacrosse membership
(+ $25 late fee for registrations made after Feb 1st, or for registrations not paid in full by Feb 28th)

  • Practices will be twice a week, Feb 29th, through June 4th.
  • 7 Saturday games starting Apr 2nd. Some additonal midweek games will be played as determined by the team coaches.
  • Play follows US Lacrosse womens rules, see

  • Players will be placed on teams based on their grade, 3-4, 5-6, or 7-8.
  • Uniforms are provided.
  • Players provide their own equipment.

Girls grade 3-8 Equipment

  • Girls lacrosse stick.
  • Lacrosse protective eye goggles.
  • Mouthguard.
  • Cleats (highly recommended). Softball or soccer cleats are fine so long as they do not have steel cleats.

Girls equipment rental packages are available through Lacrosse for All . New girls equipment packages start at around $50 and are available at Bigfoot Lacrosse, Dicks Sports, and other local and online sporting goods stores.

NOTE:  Aloha Youth Lacrosse Girls team availability is dependent on sufficient interest and registration.  In the case of insufficient interest, athletes may be combined with neighboring TVYLL clubs to form teams as the TVLax Titans. 


Grade 3-8 Boys

Registration fee: $140.00 + $25 US Lacrosse membership (+ $25 late fee for registrations made after Feb 1st, or for registrations not paid in full by Feb 28th)

  • Practices will be three times a week, Feb 29th, through June 4th, with other optional developmental opportunities provided by the Aloha coaches.
  • 7 Saturday games starting Apr 2nd. Some additional midweek games may be played as determined by the coaches.
  • Play follows modified NFHS boys Lacrosse rules, see http://www.oylax.org/rules.html .
  • Players will be placed on teams based on their grade, 3-4, 5-6, or 7-8.
  • Uniforms are provided.
  • Players provide their own equipment.

Boys grade 3-8 equipment

  • Lacrosse stick.
  • Lacrosse helmet.
  • Lacrosse chest/shoulder pads.
  • Lacrosse elbow pads.
  • Lacrosse gloves.
  • Mouthguard.
  • Athletic cup.
  • Cleats (highly recommended). Lacrosse, football, baseball, or soccer cleats are fine so long as they do not have steel cleats.

Boys equipment rental packages are available through Lacrosse for All . A full boy’s rental equipment includes a stick, helmet, chest pads, elbow pads and gloves.  A full girl’s equipment rental includes a pair of goggles and a stick. New boys equipment packages start at around $200 and are available at Bigfoot Lacrosse, Dicks Sports, Sports Authority, and other local and online sporting goods stores.
